Aluminum Dock Systems

Great Northern manufactures aluminum docks using 6000-series marine-grade aluminum and custom aluminum extrusions. Its primary aluminum product lines include Dura-Lite and Feather-Lite systems designed for straightforward installation, removal and expansion.

Floating & Stationary Docks

Customers can choose between floating and stationary systems based on water depth, bottom conditions and how the waterfront will be used. Floating docks adjust with changing water levels, while stationary systems can provide greater stability in suitable shallow-water conditions.

Roll-In Docks

Great Northern manufactures aluminum docks equipped with large wheels that allow the dock to be rolled into and out of the water. These systems are particularly useful on gradual approaches with suitable sandy or gravel bottoms.

Custom & Turnkey Dock Systems

Waterfront owners can work with the company on site-specific dock layouts. Depending on location, waterfront surveys and installation services can be coordinated along with annual installation and removal.

Dock Hardware & Accessories

Great Northern carries a broad selection of marine-grade aluminum and galvanized dock hardware along with pipe, anchors, chains, dock wheels, stairs and other waterfront accessories.

Best For

Great Northern Docks is an excellent choice for Maine and New England waterfront owners looking for locally manufactured aluminum docks, floating or stationary systems, roll-in docks, custom layouts, DIY dock components or complete turnkey dock solutions.
